PROJECT NAME : Hendijan Subsea Pipeline Detailed Design LOCATION : Middle East
BUSINESS AREA : Subsea & Offshore Technology DURATION : 6-Months
CATEGORY : Offshore Pipeline System OPERATOR : IOOC
CONTRACTOR : GPC
PROJECT DESCTIPTION:
Hendijan and Bahregansar offshore oil fields are located 10 kilometer from each other. Both are approximately 15
kilometres from the shoreline in the northern part of the Persian Gulf.
It is intended to lay a new 12” diameter subsea pipeline from the Hendijan Gathering Platform to the Bahregansar
Production Complex with risers at each end and relevant piping work to tie-in to the existing gathering manifolds on the
platforms. The pipeline is intended to be laid on the seabed without trenching.
SCOPE OF WORK:
This involves the mechanical design of the crude pipeline, and comprises of, but
not limited to the following activities:
• Thermo-Hydraulic Analysis
• Internal & External Corrosion Analysis
• Pipeline & Riser Route Selection
• Material grade and Wall Thickness
• On-Bottom Stability
• Span Analysis
• Expansion
• Cathodic Protection (CP) design
• Bottom Roughness and In-situ Analysis
